"My 95 year old father’s health was rapidly declining, and we brought in hospice. Knowing my friend Kathy has taught “Supportive Touch,” (being present with those who are dying and at the point of passing over), I called to see if she would give my Dad a gentle massage in his last days. She spent two hours “massaging” his fragile body and murmuring loving thoughts into his ears, even though he was unresponsive the entire time. Fifteen minutes after she left, my father opened his eyes, asked for his dinner, ate a hearty meal, and “came back!” The next day he was in such good shape we sent the hospice people home, as they said they no longer had any reason to be there. My Dad is back to chatting away, taking rides in the car, and enjoying his life. We all feel we experienced a miracle, and we are so grateful for Kathy’s healing touch.”
